Beige Man (2005)
A short story about a man; an isolated and ultimately tragic figure. Written as a result of a challenge laid down by good friend Andrew Bevis. A rough and patchy effort that could do with a few rounds of vigorous editing, but it was fun to create the character.
the skirt (2003)
A poem about wearing a skirt.
a prayer of thanks for the ordinary (2002)
Written for a church service on prayer. I think I may have even led this service. Clearly the sacred in the ordinary was a strong theme for me at the time. It still is.
